On July 3rd 2010 we closed our retail store in Kingston and said farewell to our little shop that we shared so many memories with everyone in.

We didn’t close the door on Ondina Studio as a business though – we just changed the way that we are working with our clients.

Paula Ryan, Bellissima and Diana Gibbs shawls will still be part of our continuing product range.  We will be hosting small client events around these products that will allow you to receive the same personal service and attention that Ondina Studio has become famous for.

We are into our second week of trading in our new home and I can’t believe how busy we are.

Thank you to all who have called in, had  a drink to wish us well and bought something while they were there.  We have also had many clients visit who use to shop with us in the city and had never been to the Studio, lovely to see you again.

It is a very busy Centre with lots of things happening at the moment. Kingston Grind have bought Zest and are making some fabulous changes and re opening shortly as the Square Mile,  and a children’s clothing shop has opened up next door to us, so the arcade is really coming to life again.

THE NEXT 6 MONTHS

I  have taken the space in the Cusack Centre for 6 months at this stage and have decided to take delivery of some winter orders, Gran Sasso, Paula Ryan, Brax, OBI and Visage.

I will inviting you to come to previews for each of the labels as they arrive into the store and offering you some special offers at the beginning of the season rather than at the end, so keep an eye on your emails.

We have plenty of room and lots of good light to run our workshops downstairs, so keep your eye on your emails and our website for dates and times.

My days in the new store will be Thursday’s and Friday’s and alternate Saturday’s, or by appointment any other day.  Fay will be looking after you  during the week, helped by Shelley Thomson who has just joined us  part time.

Michelle is now working at Fab Face and Body, just around the corner as front of house in the Beauty Salon, Michelle is a trained Beauty Therapist and has gone back to her passion for skin care, but will still be with us on Saturday’s and when we have a function in the evenings.

Well we have done it…….

The Studio is now a shop, boutique, or our favourite “the frock shop” or just simply “Ondina’s” whatever you want to call us we are now downstairs in the Cusack Centre, off Green Square or Eyre Street, where Joe’s Boots use to be. I have to say for a Pop up store we don’t look too bad at all, it’s amazing what you can do in 3 days, and a lot of help from family and friends.

I invite you to come and have a champagne, (yes we are still going to serve champagne)… and celebrate our move with us, Thursday Friday and Saturday,. Lord knows we need a drink after our move.
